She/Hers

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 35 years. I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and worked for many years as a clinician and supervisor at Michigan Medicine.  I have taught classes at the UM School of Social Work and lectured at conferences on topics ranging from clinical issues to effective leadership.

My specialty areas include navigating difficult life transitions, including dealing with chronic illness, end-of-life care, dementia, family relationships, and grief and loss.  I use a variety of modalities in my work with clients, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reflective Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

I recognize that each of us has a unique story, and my goal is to work collaboratively with clients to find solutions that align with their values and goals. I strive to create an environment of warmth and compassion that feels welcoming and supportive.
